Lady Vikings Swept by Spokane Falls, Drop Fourth Straight

Hoping to snap a three-game skid, the Big Bend Community College Lady Vikings traveled to Spokane Falls to take on the Sasquatch. However, it proved to be an uphill battle from the start, as BBCC struggled to find rhythm early and fell in straight sets.

The Lady Vikes dropped the opening set 25–6 after a sluggish start, and though they showed signs of improvement in the second, they ultimately came up short 25–12. Spokane Falls sealed the sweep with a 25–17 victory in the third set.

Charley Utley led the Lady Vikings' offense with four kills, while Reagan Golladay and Oaklee Woosley chipped in three apiece. Setters Haedynn Pum dished out 13 assists in the effort.

With the loss, Big Bend falls to 2–10 in conference play, pushing them further out of playoff contention. The Lady Vikes will look to finish their season strong with two final matches — on the road at Walla Walla on November 5th, and back home for sophomore night against Wenatchee Valley to close out the year.
