The Big Bend Community College women's wrestling team looked sharp during weekend action hosting Grays Harbor, Umpqua, and Pacific Luthern on Saturday before traveling to compete in the Spokane Open on Sunday.

On Saturday, the Lady Vikings won 8-of-12 matches with Alexie Darst and Aliyah Yates defeating all three of their opponents with Mireya Sanchez and Kayla Rogers also picking up wins. On Sunday, Yates (136) took first place in her weight class with Rodgers (101) placing third.

Big Bend will next take the mat after the Thanksgiving holiday on Dec. 6th when they travel to Great Falls, MT to compete in the Battle of the Rockies. The matches are set to stream live on the University of Providence Argos YouTube page.
