Whether or not the Lady Vikings will be able to punch their ticket to the Northwest Athletic Conference's 2019 Volleyball Championship at the Tacoma Dome Nov. 21-24 all comes down to the team's final two games of the season this week.

Big Bend (17-12, 7-7) fell on the road this weekend at Treasure Valley and need two wins this week beginning on Wednesday at Columbia Basin College (16-18, 5-9) and then at home on Friday night when they host Walla Walla (17-15, 7-6).

Currently, the Knights (0.538) are mere percentage points ahead of the Lady Vikings (0.500) for the Eastern Region's fourth and final playoff spot. The blue and green are going to need a strong finish to earn their first playoff appearance since 2004 — including defeating Walla Walla who shutout Big Bend earlier in the season.

The Knights have three games left on their regular-season slate this week. WWCC will host Treasure Valley on Wednesday, travel to Big Bend Friday, and then close out their regular season on Nov. 13th hosting Columbia Basin College.

The Knights have already lost games this season to Columbia Basin and Treasure Valley. Things could get tricky in the coming week as far as who gets into the tournament, but one thing is for sure, the Vikings most definitely need a win over Walla Wall to stay in the fight.
