Bio

Kaitlyn comes to Big Bend with a strong background in collegiate athletics; as a former student-athlete, and a passion for player development, team culture, and competitive growth. Known for her positive energy and leadership, she’s eager to get to work building relationships with her student-athletes and helping the program reach new heights.

“Kaitlyn brings a passion for mentoring and developing student-athletes, brings valuable experience and enthusiasm to the program, and a contagious enthusiasm to our department,” said Benjamin Griffin, Big Bend Athletic Director. “I’m confident her leadership will have a lasting impact on our softball program and our student-athletes. We’re excited to have her on board.”

Kaitlyn is from Nevada, she played volleyball and softball and was offered a double scholarship for both sports out of high school, but she chose to focus on softball. She has a BA in sports management, and recently graduated from ISU with a masters in Athletic Administration.

In Kaitlyn’s free time she likes to spend time outdoors with her dog Knox.
