Big Bend had four starters in double figures, but the Runnin' Vikes could close a 6-point halftime deficit losing to Yakima Valley, 94-79.

Jonathan Thomas led Big Bend in scoring with 20 points, Jahvontae' Jones and Landon Harrington each finished with 15 points, and Jaden Brown added 10. Payton Nielsen scored just 6 points but finished with 14 rebounds.

The Runnin' Vikes hit just 7-of-24 shots from behind the 3-point arc, and just 8-of-21 from the foul line.

BBCC (7-11, 1-3) will get a break until Saturday afternoon when they host Treasure Valley. The Chukars are currently 8-7 overall and 1-3 in the Northwest Athletic Conference's East Region.
