The Big Bend men's basketball team looked a little out of practice on the road Thursday night in Coeur d'Alene as host North Idaho thumped the Runnin' Vikes, 107-74.

The blue and green were coming off a 13-day holiday break and it showed early as the Cardinals jumped out to a 15-2 lead in the game's first four minutes. NIC would extend that lead to 62-35 by halftime and put the game on cruise control in the second half for the eventual win by a 33-point margin.

Jahvontae' Jones led BBCC with 19 points and Dennis Ulyanchuk finished the game with a double-double (14 points-12 rebounds) in the losing effort. The Vikings turned the ball over 21 times with North Idaho only recording 8 turnovers.

The Runnin' Vikes will be back in action opening their home conference schedule on Saturday against Spokane. The game is slated to tip-off at 4 p.m. inside the DeVries Center on the Big Bend campus.
