Inclement early-season weather kept the Big Bend softball team on the road for the entire first half of the season, but now the Vikings are getting some time in front of the home crowd in what has become an extremely busy second half of the season. Between Sunday (April 21) and Saturday (April 27), BBCC played four doubleheaders and picked up 8-consecutive wins.

This week, the Vikings will host 3 doubleheaders in a pivotal NWAC East Region stretch. Big Bend (19-5) has a bullseye on its back as they sit on top of the region standings and will welcome Walla Walla (Tuesday, April 30), Columbia Basin (Friday, May 3), and Yakima Valley (Saturday, May 4) all to the BBCC campus this week. They will close out their regular season schedule against Wenatchee on Friday, May 10th.
